What is Oxfam Trailwalker about? Well, it is a challenge for ordinary people, like you and us, who have decided to get involved in  one of the most inspiring team challenges in the world: walk 100 km in less than 30 hours, in teams of 4, without relay! 

What for? Tackling poverty and inequalities around the world. Oxfam Trailwalker is not only about walking and challenging yourself mentally and physically, it is also a fundraising effort to support Oxfam France's actions. We have pledged to raise at least 1500 € to support this NGO. Oxfam works everyday on tackling poverty by changing minds, systems and lives. We are proud to help this organisation to do so!

We cannot do it alone, please support us! Use our teamspace to make a donation and help us challenging poverty!

    Back to the Future

     

    In the 1990's our team members took their first steps along the Kowloon skyline in the Hong Kong Trailwalker. In those days we were all colleagues from the Bachy Soletanche Group a subsiduary of the French multinational, Soletanche Bachy, itself now part of Vinci. 


    After each event it was 'Never Again' but here we are going for it once more, this time in the more sedate surrounding of the Parc du Morvan in Central France. Only one of our team members still lives in Hong Kong and has religiously beats the MacLehose Trail every November since.

    The years have rolled on and now 25 years more mature weare determined to raise as much in € as we did in HKD !

    This blog will keep you abreast of our efforts despite the challenges of these difficult times. Our fundraising is pen on this page. Please support as best you can!
